Sample Menu

We at Claymont take great pride in the quality and variety of our cooking. You can expect wholesome, fresh food prepared by people who care. Organic vegetables grown in our gardens will be used in season. Vegetarian, organic and vegan cuisines are available.

The selections below are only a sampling of what we can prepare for you. Please feel free to discuss other menu options with our cooking staff.

Breakfast
Homemade granola, hot and cold cereal
Eggs, juice, milk, soymilk and yogurt
Assorted breads, peanut butter and jelly

Meat is $2 extra per person and would include sausage or bacon or other choice.

Lunch
Hearty soup made from scratch
(i.e. perhaps squash, lentil, vegetable, potato-leek, etc.)
Salad (i.e. green, tabouli, hummus, etc.)
Sandwich materials

Dinner
Indian curries, or lasagna, or baked chicken
or broiled fish with herbs, or enchiladas
(other options available as well)
Salad, cooked vegetables or both
A noodle, rice or potato dish
Dessert comes with dinner: chocolate cake, apple crisp, carrot cake, or brownies etc.

$2 extra per person for two entrée options at dinner
(i.e. one vegetarian and one meat option)

Coffee and tea available all day
